There is no assessment requirement for these courses and certificates are not awarded. They vary in length, the Continuing Dressmaking is an annual course, Open Studio and Creative Computing are shorter courses.
Continuing Dressmaking is £1,047.00 + £40 Studio Fee
Open Studio is £538.00 including Studio Fee - 1 day per month for 11 months.
Creative Computing is £300.00 - over 6 days (1 day per month, via Zoom, working from the comfort of your own home!)
Dye A Colour Library is £250.00 and is a self directed course that you will complete at home.
Continuing Dressmaking
This course carries on from Foundation Dressmaking, and a lot of the students bring fabrics that they have designed and made on other courses to turn into a truly unique garment.
Open studio
This is for our students that want to focus on their own projects, but with that really important input from tutors and fellow artists. Many come to develop products for their own businesses.
Creative Computing for Textile Makers
You will be introduced to PhotoShop or PhotoShop Elements and guided through a series of processes that will generate designs and ideas that can be used in your textile work.
Dye A Colour Library
You will be shown how to set up a dye studio at home and will learn how to make accurate dye mixes for your textile work
