The culmination of work over the three years of Fellowship is being celebrated with a Graduation Show at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh.

Making work for sale is not something everyone wants to do. Some people come to us because they want to learn their craft and have some ‘me’ time, which in an ever busier world is so incredibly important! They love being in the ‘ArtyBird Bubble’ for a couple of days, interacting with their peers, discussing ideas and knowledge and most of all learning!

Clare Ashton - Wonderfully Made
Another former student, Clare is a maker of the highest quality and produces beautiful pieces, drawing inspiration from nature and the wildlife she sees. She produces beautifully covered sketchbooks and lampshades, some of which have featured in a Laurence Llewelyn Bowen TV show. She also has a range of felt covered soaps. The International Feltmakers Association
The International Feltmakers Association is an organisation of like minded people sharing ideas. The local groups arrange workshops. There is a quarterly magazine "Felt Makers" and all sorts of felt opportunities.

Helen is another former student and a City & Guilds Medal for Excellence winner. She produces a whole range of beautiful accessories as well as a very witty range of cards that your crafty friends will just love!
